Analysis: Moore's reception, yardage and target totals were all team highs, and the veteran also recorded his second touchdown grab of the season on a 20-yard catch just before halftime. Analysis: The fifth-year receiver continues to show little chemistry with Baker Mayfield (ankle), as his modest receiving yardage actually represented his best performance of the season, and he's hauled in fewer than half his targets on the year. With Mayfield leaving Sunday's loss late, however, Moore might actually be looking forward to the possibility of having P.J. Walker under center in Week 6 against the Rams -- over Walker's only two NFL starts, Moore has caught 11 of 18 targets for 151 yards.

Modest numbers in loss

Analysis: Moore drew double-digit targets for the third consecutive game and has now surpassed 100 receiving yards in each of his last two contests. Against the Cowboys, he managed big gains of 39 and 29 yards, both of which came primarily after the catch. His touchdowns did come late in the game and with the Panthers down multiple scores. Analysis: For the second straight game, Moore was Sam Darnold's favorite option among Carolina's wideouts, and this time the duo connected on a 20-yard TD strike in the second quarter. Moore will look to keep his hot start going Thursday against a Texans defense that got lit up by DJ Chark and Marvin Jones in their opener.

Analysis: Carolina's offense flowed primarily through runs and short passes to Christian McCaffrey, but Moore was able to get open consistently when the Panthers looked to push the ball downfield. Analysis: Moore was sidelined for both of the team's first two preseason contests -- the latter due to injury. However, he proved his health in the final exhibition, as he led the team in targets, receptions and yards. Half of his catches came on the first drive, with the grabs going for two, two and 11 yards respectively. With this game action under his belt, Moore should be set for a full workload in the team's Week 1 matchup against the Jets.

In line to play Friday
